Conditions for Art / Craft Exhibitors

  • Max size including frame 100cm x 100cm
  • The number of items exhibited by each artist will be limited. As a guide, 6 large paintings or 10 smaller paintings will generally be accepted but the final decision on which items will be shown is at the sole discretion of the committee. The number of other types of art work (ceramics etc) will also be at the discretion of the committee.
  • Adequate framing and hanging medium for artwork be provided ie no rolled canvas or plain boards
  • Artists and Craftspeople are to be residents of the Peel Region or South West Region
  • Exhibited items may be sold at the discretion of the artist.
  • Items for sale must be priced by the exhibitor.
  • Sales of artwork will be handled by the organising committee. As EFTPOS is not available, payment will be accepted in cash or by cheque payable to the artist with two different forms of identification (eg drivers licence and credit card).
  • There is no charge for exhibition of work but a 10% commission will be charged on any sales made during the exhibition.
  • The organisers reserve the right to not exhibit any item they deem unsuitable.
  • All items may be photographed for publicity or archival purposes
  • Whilst every care and protection will be provided for submitted items, LCHPSA will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur.
  • All items requiring to be hung are to be received by the organising committee by 19th November 2009
  • Entries are to be removed by 24th November 2009 or may be removed after 3:30 pm on the day of the exhibition
